Select Speakers are delighted to announce that Lady Ann Foley has joined their group of excellent speakers. Ann is a youthful, breezy, sparkling and spontaneous lady. She is very attractive and well dressed. She has clear voice and her audiences are enraptured by her friendly, relaxed, warm and slightly confidential style of delivery. She is very intelligent and can grasp facts very quickly. She is highly amusing and has the capacity to motivate audiences because of her rare ability to relate to people at all levels and from “any walk of life”.
Ann has a very warm personality and enjoys the company of other people. She is fascinated by people and she has a very positive outlook on life. She is brilliant at giving and hosting all types of Events and Parties and in making guests feel welcome.
Ann is married two Lieutenant General Sir John Foley and they have two daughters. Sir John and Ann have recently returned from Guernsey where he was the Lieutenant Governor. Ann was much involved in life on Guernsey as the Governor’s Wife. During their stay on Guernsey, they had the Queen and the Duke of Edinburg to stay with them.
Sir John has previously been involved in business following a highly successful career in the Army. In his last appointment in the Army Sir John had been Chief of Defence Intelligence. This appointment followed his role as the penultimate General in Hong King where they were both much involved in the lead up to the 1997 handover to the Chinese.
Ann is much travelled and has lived in Hereford, London, Berlin, Cyprus, Londonderry, and in Hong Kong.
